California's affordable housing crisis has become an unaffordable housing crisis. There's not enough inventory even for the most affluent among us. You may not be shedding a tear for Beyonce and Jay Z, but Zócalo Public Square columnist Joe Matthews says your housing struggles are related to theirs. The common denominator is a reluctance to build that has thrown California's entire housing market out of whack.
