Hosted by

Commuter trains that don’t connect to LAX…a trolley in San Diego that doesn’t go to the Zoo…and now a 1.3-mile rail project in San Francisco that has seen costs balloon to more than $6 billion. These massive failures reveal the shortcomings of transportation planning and execution in the Golden State, according to Zocalo Public Square commentator Joe Mathews. And these are little things. It’s no wonder that high-speed rail is such a boondoggle.
