Anna Chang is an Producer in KCRW’s Music Department with a focus on producing Morning Becomes Eclectic and KCRW’s Live From series. An avid concert-goer and festival junkie, Anna has a passion for exposing people to incredible live performances and spotlighting exciting conversations with genre-bending artists. Born and raised in San Francisco, she was surrounded by diverse and eclectic influences that helped shape her curiosity, empathy, and artistic perspective. Prior to joining the Music Dept, Anna was the Individual Giving Associate in KCRW’s Development Department, where she helped curate exclusive music and cultural events and cultivated donor-driven support for the station.
Anna got her start in Los Angeles at UCLA, graduating with a degree in World Arts and Cultures, Arabic, and Urban Studies. She’s worked in a variety of arts-centered social justice organizations, including Venice’s Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) and Fashion District based non-profit, Heidi Duckler Dance as their Communications Director. Over the years, Anna has been a show lead and MC for Sofar Sounds, connecting audiences with emerging musicians in intimate venues across Los Angeles. She co-hosts a podcast for music discovery called TurnOntheAC.
