Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin

Initially formed in the 1970s, Goblin, led by keyboardist Claudio Simonetti, became synonymous with the sound of Italian horror cinema. Their collaboration with director Dario Argento on films like Suspiria and Deep Red created some of the most memorable and unsettling scores in horror history. Their work on George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978) further cemented their global cult status. The current iteration, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin, continues to tour worldwide, performing their classic scores live alongside film screenings.
