Green Day

Formed in 1986 in Berkeley, California, Green Day consists of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass), and Tré Cool (drums). They spearheaded the 1990s punk revival with the release of Dookie (1994), which sold over 20 million copies worldwide. Known for their explosive energy and politically charged songwriting, the band followed with hits like American Idiot (2004), a rock opera that earned a Grammy and inspired a Broadway musical. With over three decades of global tours, 13 studio albums, and millions of records sold, Green Day remain one of the most influential punk bands of all time.
