Howard Shore

Howard Shore is a Canadian composer and conductor whose work spans more than four decades of film and television. He is internationally recognized for composing the epic score to The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which earned him three Academy Awards. Shore is also celebrated for his long-standing collaboration with director David Cronenberg, scoring films like The Fly, A History of Violence, and Crash (1996), which he will present live at Future Ruins. His music combines sweeping orchestration with avant-garde influences, making him one of the most versatile and celebrated composers in cinema.
