Checking In on the Porter Ranch Disaster The natural gas leak in the Porter Ranch neighborhood of L.A. County is turning into a major disaster. Thousands of residents have been moved out of their homes. Schools have been relocated. People have suffered headaches, nausea, nosebleeds, and other symptoms. The leak was detected back in October. And the leak is so bad, it’s impacting global warming emissions targets for the whole state. We get the ground-level and big-picture views.
Accusations of lying fly between James Comey and White House During his testimony Thursday, former FBI Director James Comey accused President Trump and other White House officials of lying when they said the FBI was in disarray and its staff had lost confidence in him. President Trump’s lawyer said Comey was wrong -- that the president never asked for his loyalty, and never asked him to back off the investigation into former NSA director Michael Flynn.

And hundreds of positions are unfilled in federal agencies.
