Robby Krieger
American guitarist, songwriter, and founding member of The DoorsBorn in Los Angeles in 1946, Robby Krieger is an American guitarist and songwriter who helped shape the sound of 1960s rock as a founding member of The Doors. His flamenco-inspired guitar playing and songwriting contributions were central to the band’s sound, with hits including “Light My Fire,” “Love Me Two Times,” “Touch Me,” and “Love Her Madly.”
Following The Doors’ disbandment in the 1970s, Krieger pursued solo projects, blending rock, jazz, and world music influences across albums like Robbie Krieger & Friends (1977) and Singularity (2010). He has also collaborated with numerous artists and performed in tribute projects keeping The Doors’ music alive.
