Australian Punk Rock Band

Formed in 2016 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, The Chats consist of Eamon Sandwith (vocals, bass), Josh Hardy (guitar), and Matt Boggis (drums). They rose to international attention with their viral single Smoko (2017), which embodied their irreverent, working-class punk aesthetic. Their albums High Risk Behaviour (2020) and Get Fucked (2022) cemented them as one of the most exciting modern punk bands. Known for fast-paced songs about everyday life and chaotic live shows, The Chats carry on the tradition of raw, fun Australian pub-punk.
