Tycho : ISO50

Tycho, founded by San Francisco–based musician and graphic designer Scott Hansen, combines immersive electronic compositions with visual art under his design moniker ISO50. Emerging in the early 2000s with albums like Past Is Prologue (2006), Tycho gained global acclaim for Dive (2011), Awake (2014), and Epoch (2016), the latter receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Hansen’s performances often merge live instrumentation with electronic layers, paired with synchronized visual projections that reflect his ISO50 graphic design work. This audiovisual approach creates a meditative and cinematic live experience that has made Tycho a leading figure in modern ambient and downtempo music.
