Westside Gunn

Westside Gunn (born Alvin Lamar Worthy) rose from Buffalo’s underground scene to become a key architect of Griselda Records, alongside his brother Conway the Machine and cousin Benny the Butcher. His music combines raw street narratives with avant-garde aesthetics, often paired with bold cover art and high-fashion references. Albums like Supreme Blientele (2018), Pray for Paris (2020), and 10 (2022) cemented his reputation as one of hip-hop’s most distinctive voices.

In addition to his solo career, Gunn has been instrumental in spotlighting the Griselda collective, helping bring gritty East Coast rap back to prominence on a global scale. His performances are as much art exhibits as rap shows, blending luxury, grit, and underground authenticity.
