The results are in!

Two weeks ago, we asked you to participate in a voting round to determine which of your awesome questions Curious Coast should investigate next. Today, after tallying up your votes, we’re excited to announce the winner.

Just in case anyone missed April’s voting round post, let’s get you caught up: This month, we want to talk about development. Why? Because, as most Angelenos will probably (proudly) corroborate, the history of our city is quite a vibrant one. In May, we’re going to honor that by looking at pieces of the city’s history that have withstood the tests of time — and share our findings with all of you.

In selecting the contenders for April’s voting round, we culled three questions from our submissions pool that we felt best embodied this theme. So, without further adieu, here’s the question you voted for:

What happens on the upper floors of Los Angeles City Hall (old building)? Are the floors in use?

We’d like to give a quick shout-out to Fabian Mejia — one of our Los Angeles listeners — who submitted the winning question to us, as well as to fellow Curious Coast listeners Evelyne Bota and David Ahrendts, whose fascinating questions also competed in last month’s voting round.
