There has been an explosion of huge houses and condos in in Los Angeles, London and other global cities purchased by overseas buyers who rarely set foot in these properties. Yet typically these houses are given fabulous makeovers. Does that make them "homes?"

Yet typically these houses are given fabulous makeovers. Does that make them "homes?" This discussion was part of a panel called "Buy to Forget: Zombie Urbanism" at the 2015 WestEdge Design Fair.
