Eames Words, a fresh and inventive take — by Eames office alumni Deborah Sussman and Tina Beebe, along with graphic designer Andrew Byrom, architects M/Arch and a large volunteer team — on the influence of Charles and Ray Eames (discussed on this DnA).

But while we celebrate the contribution of these amazing designers, it is hard not to think about, and grieve, the loss yesterday of another titan of American invention, Steve Jobs.

On an upcoming DnA, we’ll talk about the impact of Apple computers, as design artefacts but also as shapers of the process of design. If you have an opinion on this that you’d like to share with DnA, and are at the party tonight, please come find me. I’d love to talk to you.
