    As 2 more horses die, pressure mounts to close the Santa Anita Race Track

    The Santa Anita Race Track has denied the California Horse Racing Board’s request to cancel the rest of the horse racing season. That's despite the fact that two more horses died at the track over the weekend.

    The Santa Anita Race Track has denied the California Horse Racing Board’s request to cancel the rest of the horse racing season. That's despite the fact that two more horses died at the track over the weekend. Since the start of this season, 29 total horses have died.
