In California, many people are turning to cannabidiol (CBD) for their pets who are suffering from anxiety, joint pain, and other ailments. CBD is a part of marijuana that’s non-psychoactive.

Veterinarians aren’t allowed to prescribe them, but California is the only state that allows a vet to initiate a discussion with their clients about things like CBD dog treats and topical creams. And some pet owners swear by them.
