    Chris Erskine has spent three decades working at the LA Times. He’ll continue as columnist there through May. He started as a copy editor for the LA newspaper. Then he pivoted to writing a column on humor, suburban life, and parenting.

    Chris Erskine has spent three decades working at the LA Times. He’ll continue as columnist there through May. He started as a copy editor for the LA newspaper. Then he pivoted to writing a column on humor, suburban life, and parenting. His latest book, “Daditude,” is a reflection on fatherhood.

    Months ago, he accepted a buyout from the LA Times. He talks to us about his decision to leave the paper.
