How Calif. Democrats have dropped the ball on affordable housing and homeless shelters

California Democrats, with a raft of bills and a supermajority in Sacramento, seemed poised to make something happen when it comes to housing and homelessness. But transportation writer Alissa Walker says the month of May “might very well go down as the worst month in California’s housing policy history.”
