Director Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, Trois: The Escort) has crossed genres, going from African American romantic thriller, to slasher film, to musical to action-adventure with his newest, The Losers. He discusses pleasing comics, fans and movie-goers.

White discusses how the film Baraka influenced his filmmaking style -- especially his use of slow motion, contrasts the style and content of graphic novels in his native France and the US, and reveals his obsession with the Scottish band Mogwai, and how actor Columbus Short, with whom he had worked on Stomp the Yard, assisted him in gaining the trust and respect of the cast on The Losers.
