Kim and John discuss news that a number of high-profile films -- films that had been on Oscar watchers' lists as possible contenders this year -- have been pushed away from their planned 2013 release dates to 2014. Among them are Monument Men from George Clooney and Foxcatcher from Bennett Miller, who won an Oscar for Capote. On the other hand, one movie that looked like it wasn't going to make it's 2013 release date but will now open on Christmas day is the Scorsese film Wolf of Wall Street starring Leonardo di Caprio. All of the movement has Hollywood media wondering if the shifts have to do with studios trying to position movies out of the crowded December or to minimize awards expectations.
