Emma Thompson leaves Skydance Animation project following Lasseter hire
When former head of Pixar and Disney Animation John Lasseter was forced to leave following allegations of inappropriate behavior, and was then hired by Skydance to run its animation department, there was blowback among some female animators.

Last week, Holly Edwards was promoted to president in at attempt to quell concerns raised by female animators, but for some people--including Thompson, that move clearly wasn't enough. Now Lasseter finds himself in a situation similar to Woody Allen--there's a lot of talent who doesn't want to work with or be seen on a red carpet with him.
