Fans Go Wild at Release of New 'Star Wars' Teaser
A new teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens had fans in pandemonium at today's Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. The movie doesn't open until December, but it's already predicted to break records at the box office.
Fans have been waiting for years for a new Star Wars movie worthy of the franchise. Disney has kept the newest installment, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, under very tight wraps, but today at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, fans got a serious taste of what's to come.
A new teaser trailer features characters new and old, including a memorable one-line appearance from Harrison Ford and Chewbacca that had fans weeping and falling to their knees. The force certainly appears to be with Disney at the box office this year -- Marvel movies will rule this summer and the release of Star Wars in December could bring in more than $300 million opening weekend, which would break the $207 million record currently held by The Avengers.
