    Fallon to replace Leno but Colbert big winner

    This week NBC finally confirmed what everyone already knew: Jimmy Fallon would take over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. The show will move back to NY, leaving Jimmy Kimmel as the host of the only remaining California-based late night show. This comes as late night as a block of TV is fading on broadcast and the role of social media and viral videos being a huge part of a host's success. For the first time ever Steven Colbert's Comedy Central show has won the ratings race in the key demo for 11:30pm and ad revenue -- while still large -- is waning for the big networks' late shows.
