Kim and John discuss the latest steps in the fight over how to stop piracy on the Internet. Congress had been working on two bills known as SOPA and PIPA to stop online piracy. The Hollywood studios and MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) were in favor of this legislation because they claim the industry loses billions of dollars and potentially hundreds of jobs each year because of piracy. But Internet bigwigs like Google, Facebook and AOL were against the legislation and took their message to the public, saying that SOPA and PIPA would 'break the Internet.' Wikipedia even shut down its site for a day in protest. This week Obama came out against the legislation in its current form. How did Hollywood lose this PR war in the public conversation and what's the answer?
