Talent Agency Resolution to Close

Resolution, the fledgling talent agency founded by Jeff Berg, will cease operations. The agency lacked major stars and the television packaging fees, making it tough to keep up with more established competitors.

Morale at Jeff Berg's Resolution had been low for some time, following the departure of several clients, and now the talent agency will be closing up shop for good. In addition to a lack of high-value talent, the agency also suffered from not having access to lucrative television packaging fees. Another problem for Berg was securing funding from China. While the China-based Bison Capital was supposed to be taking a stake in the agency, payments kept coming up short and late. Resolution clients like Lindsay Lohan, Rose McGowan, Nick Cassavetes and Danny Elfman will scatter to other agencies.
