The Mouse has officially swallowed the Fox

Mickey Mouse, Bart Simpson and Deadpool are now officially all a part of the same corporate family. As the town goes from six studios to five, it will make it even more difficult for anyone to compete with Disney. Looking ahead at the box office, Disney is now even more of a Death Star--there are major releases basically every month for the rest of the year. While the creative content potential is exciting, there is a dark side: layoffs have already begun at the executive level, and there will be thousands more to come.
