    Official photographer of Woodstock remembers the festival 50 years later

    From Richie Havens to Jimi Hendrix, photographer Henry Diltz recalls his favorite moments of the historic festival.

    50 years ago, hundreds of thousands of people gathered for what was billed as "three days of peace and music." Henry Diltz remembers how he stumbled into the position of official photographer for the historic Woodstock festival. He says so much of it was thrown together as it went...but it was only better for it.
