Senate, state congressional races: Early primary results

With thousands of votes yet to be counted, political observer Raphael Sonenshein zooms in on the Senate race and key congressional races in Southern California.

Though election results won’t be finalized for days or weeks, longtime political analyst Raphael Sonenshein looks into early results. The race for California’s open Senate seat appears to be headed for a run-off in the November general election.

Plus, he weighs in on a handful of congressional races that could determine which political party controls the U.S. House of Representatives for the next two years.
