The future of work

The nature of work is changing with serious long lasting consequences for both employers and workers. Traditional employment is increasingly being replaced with temp workers and independent contractors, which operate outside labor laws. This major shift has some experts fearing what will happen to American workers as the safety nets they've had for decades disappear.
