Parents at Hobart Boulevard Elementary School in Koreatown are upset that a popular teacher has been benched by the LA Unified School District. Rafe Esquith teaches fifth grade there. He's received some big honors for his work getting kids into Shakespeare. But it was something he said in reference to Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn that got him into some hot water. Kevin Roderick, editor of LA Observed, spoke to KCRW's Steve Chiotakis.
