On this Labor Day, a holiday that honors working men and women in America, Mayor Eric Garcetti is helping celebrate by announcing a proposal that would give a lot of folks in LA a raise.

On this Labor Day, a holiday that honors working men and women in America, Mayor Eric Garcetti is helping celebrate by announcing a proposal that would give a lot of folks in LA a raise. Garcetti announced a plan today that would raise the city’s minimum wage to $13.25 an hour by the year 2017.The mayor’s been quietly getting feedback in the business community on his plan, but that hasn’t stopped some folks from coming out against it.
