A Thankful Roundtable

We're thankful for modern medicine, helping refugees, consumer culture -- and Donald Trump?

In a special Thanksgiving show, our panel tells us what makes them grateful. Rich Lowry is thankful for modern medicine. Joan Walsh is grateful for the nonprofit organizations that assist Syrian refugees. León Krauze is grateful for Donald Trump. Really. As a Hispanic journalist, he says he is grateful that he has challenged journalists to work on facts and encouraged voter engagement. But is Donald Trump still funny? Josh Barro thinks a Trump presidency certainly wouldn't be funny, nor is his "neutral relationship with the truth." Barro says he is grateful for consumer culture and products that delight people.

Josh Barro (New York Times) moderates from the Center. Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right. On the Left, is Joan Walsh (The Nation / MSNBC). León Krauze (Univision's KMEX) is our special guest.
