President Obama's inaugural speech focused on the economy, social safety nets, national security and equality. Is Obama becoming the liberal Ronald Reagan? Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced that the Pentagon will finally lift the ban on women in combat. Is it social progress or simply a military necessity? Former "tough as nails" prosecutor Mary Jo White is nominated to head the Security Exchange Commission. Does this mean tougher days ahead for Wall Street or should reformers fear that she will pander to former clients?
