    Obama, Romney and Latino Voters

President Obama and challenger Romney talk to Latinos.  Moody's is bearish on the big banks. The push and pull over Fast and Furious.  And all eyes on SCOTUS.

Both President Obama and his GOP challenger Mitt Romney went before the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) conference in Florida. Romney was more conciliatory than he was way back in the Primaries. Obama highlighted his Dream Executive Order. Moody's has cut the credit rating of 15 major banks, including Bank of America, Citigroup and pretty much every other other banking giant you can name. It's a big setback for an industry already hobbled by global economic woes. Who pays? And, first the White House invoked executive privilege while refusing to turn over Justice Department documents over its handling of the Fast & Furious scandal, then a House Committee voted Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt. The stand-off is expected to drag all the way through Election Day. (Ed Kilgore sits in for Matt Miller, who's away. Joshua Treviño joins us on the Right.)
