Does the homecoming of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl signal that the Taliban is going to be part of home rule in Afghanistan? Robert Scheer says the exchange of Bergdahl for Taliban soldiers shows the strength of the Taliban in the region. Meanwhile, job numbers are like they've been for what seems like forever: slow, steady, but still feeling awfully soft. Matthew Continetti says Republicans need to start talking differently about the economy, and talking about alternatives to grow the economy that can be supported by the middle class. Then, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd got really baked in Colorado recently. Scheer says, "Maureen Dowd did a stupid thing," she treated the edibles like candy. We discuss the policy over legalized cannabis edibles.

Joshua Barro (New York Times) moderates from the Center. Robert Scheer (TruthDig.com) is on the Left. Matthew Continetti (Washington Free Beacon) is on the Right.
