The legendary German house duo known as Booka Shade have earned huge recognition as one of the most celebrated electronic acts to come out of Europe over the past two decades with their innovative live shows and classic albums.

Get Physical Music (together with M.A.N.D.Y., Thomas ‘DJ T.’ Koch and Peter Hayo), where they would have an independent platform for their own music.

A few years later in the summer of 2005, the duo were the toast of Ibiza with their hit “Body Language”. That track, along with follow up “Mandarine Girl” turned them into dancefloor heroes with the release of Movements – a record which raised their production bar and shot Bookashade onto the global stage.

Twenty years, dozens of EP’s and six albums later, Booka Shade have become more than a household name. They are synonymous with the spirit that drives electronic music and have set a precedent to which electronic music is still held to today.

We are thrilled to welcome Booka Shade to Metropolis with the first guest mix of the year ahead of their North American tour, complete with a stop here in Los Angeles at Sound Nightclub.
