Detroit DJ, producer and remixer MK (Marc Kinchen) has been a heavy-hitter in the dance music scene since he hit number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in both 1993 and 1994 with “Always” and “Love Changes”. Through his sound, MK gives kudos his native Detroit, which clearly influenced his creative spirit since day one.
MK continues to make strides; evolving steadily with the musical landscape and bringing his powerful imprint to dance floor-friendly remixes of artists like Disclosure, Lana Del Rey, Diplo, Elderbrook, Sam Smith, London Grammar, and many more.
MK’s latest offering is the release of his single with Gorgon City, “There For You”, right in time for the dog days of summer. We are thrilled to welcome MK back to KCRW for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis.
