Austin DJ, producer, community leader, and “sonic journalist” Hipstir hits the decks at the Rivian Electric Roadhouse for a set that’s sure to get you gently groovin’ … wherever you find yourself listening. Her globe-trotting set is soulful, deep, and buoyed by chill house beats.

But first, she tells us a bit more about herself. From learning to DJ through the Hanoi, Vietnam-based collective SYSter Sounds, to paying it forward by starting her own Austin-based, femme and gender-expansive collective BABE (Bad Ass Bitches Elevating) in 2022 — Hipstir the student has also become the teacher as she now offers DJ lessons to others.
