Morning Becomes Eclectic: Novena in conversation with Gorillaz on Album Release Day
KCRW’s signature music program — defying format since 1977.

We’ve got brand new sounds from Jimetta Rose & The Voices of Creation choir, who are just what we need for a mid-week boost. The title track from the group's forthcoming EP, “How Good It Is,” is out now and has us even more anxious for full access to their spiritual jazz offerings (due next month). Be sure to perk up your ears to take in a very familiar voice on the track’s closing solo (hint: she co-hosts this show!).
Also coming in hot are the latest singles from recent MBE guest Ambar Lucid, Jessie Ware, and St. Panther. Plus, there’s still time to win a Box at the Bowl for the cosmic beat dream team of Flying Lotus and Hiatus Kaiyote on Aug. 21 as part of KCRW Festival.
