On Monday, February 1, residents of Iowa will attend precinct caucuses to elect delegates to county conventions. (Those conventions then select delegates to the State Convention, which chooses the delegates for the presidential nominating conventions.)

Ari Shapiro and Audie Cornish will host NPR's Iowa special, which will feature candidate speeches, newsmaker interviews, and analysis from NPR correspondents and editors, as well as polling insights from Democratic Pollster Anna Greenberg of Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner Research and Republican Pollster Patrick Ruffini of Echelon Insights. NPR will report from the headquarters of leading candidates from both parties, and Asma Khalid will be reporting from New Hampshire, for a look ahead to that state's contest the following week.
