Barack Obama: The Inauguration of America's 44th President

On January 20, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States and the first African American to hold the nation's highest office. KCRW will present live coverage of this historic day. Our day begins with National Public Radio's coverage of the inauguration from 7-11am. (Click on 'More' for additional special programming.)

On January 20, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States and the first African American to hold the nation's highest office. KCRW will present live coverage of this historic day, including the swearing-in ceremonies, Obama's inaugural address, reactions from the crowd, reports from the inaugural balls, and response from people around the world.

Our day begins with National Public Radio's coverage of the inauguration, 7-11am.

Following the inauguration, we will present special liveeditions of To the Point (11am-noon) and The World (noon-1pm), as well as a one-hour edition of All Things Considered (1-2pm).

Following KCRW's regularly scheduled afternoon programming, including All Things Considered (3-7pm), we present a special NPR Inauguration Wrap-Up (7-8pm).
