    President Obama Addresses Nation on the Economy

    President Obama will address the nation and a joint session of Congress tonight to lay out his comprehensive approach to confronting our economic and fiscal crises. KCRW will air NPR’s live anchored coverage of the President's address, as well as the Republican response from Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. (Airs 6-8pm and pre-empts the final hour of All Things Considered and Which Way, L.A.?)

    President Obama will address the nation and a joint session of Congress tonight to lay out his comprehensive approach to confronting our economic and fiscal crises. The White House says he'll combine optimism with honesty. KCRW will air NPR’s live anchored coverage of the President's address, as well as the Republican response from Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. All Things Considered anchor Melissa Block hosts and will be joined in the studio by national political correspondent Mara Liasson. Expert analysis by NPR reporters and correspondents follows.
