    About Paul Weller

    Paul Weller has been making music for more then 25 years as a solo artist and as the former leader of seminal British bands

    The Jam and

    The Style Council. His influences by

    The Who and mod fashion were evident while he helmed

    The Jam, laying the foundation for the British punk scene in the late 70s. In the 80s,

    The Style Council, an existentialist soul experience, achieved great success before breaking ground with a house record found exclusively in a 1998 box set. His best-known songs stateside are

    Town Called Malice (The Jam) and

    My Ever Changing Moods (The Style Council)

    Stanley Road

    (1995), which entered the charts in the U.K. at number one and sold over a million copies. Then in 2000, he claimed that

    Heliocentric

    would be his final studio album.

    Illumination
