Late last week, Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas announced he would be running for a fifth term. Rackackaus has long enjoyed overwhelming support from politicians, law enforcement, and the public, but this year might be his toughest-ever race. Police officer unions are furious he charged officers with murder in the Kelly Thomas case, while liberal groups allege Rackauckas turns a blind eye to political corruption in the county. Rumored to run is Rackackaus' one-time protege, Todd Spitzer, who has blasted his mentor for years. Will Tony cruise to victory or is he in for the fight of his political life?
