Farewell for Fullerton's Faultfinder

Last week, a blog called Friends for Fullerton's Future mysteriously called it quits after four years. It became nationally renowned for its coverage of the Kelly Thomas killing but reviled in the county for attacking Republicans and Democrats alike, thereby breaking the OC blogosphere rule of functioning as mouthpieces for partisan interests. Is the demise of Fullerton's Future a self-inflicted wound, or an indictment of Orange County's perpetual hatred of truth-tellers?
