    Good Pot, Bad Pot

    The drastically different approaches that Anaheim and Santa Ana are taking to medicinal marijuana.

    Last week, Santa Ana officials held a lottery to determine which of more than 600 applicants would get one of the city's 20 permits to operate a medicinal marijuana shop. This came on the heels of Anaheim council members doubling down on trying to rid their town of all such clinics altogether by making it easier to sue landlords who lease to them. Why is each city taking such drastically different approaches to a business that's allowed under California law?
