    The Future of OC's 46th Congressional District

    The race to replace Loretta Sanchez.

    Last week, Anaheim council member Jordan Brandman announced he was running to replace Loretta Sanchez in the 46th Congressional District. This area has long been the sole safe seat for Democrats in Orange County, ever since Sanchez won it in 1996. Also running is former state senator Lou Correa, and expected to run is Garden Grove council member Bao Nguyen. If all three candidates run against each other, it'll create a battle royale that will pit the OC Democratic Party's three core bases against each other. Will this affect the Democrats in the future?
