    About a year ago, Boston businessman Aaron Kushner bought the Orange County Register, vowing to buck daily newspaper trends by beefing up the paper's coverage and hiring more reporters. He's stayed true to his word, but not while also raising eyebrows in his newsroom and in the industry with controversial proposals. Has Kushner's reign been good for Orange County, or is the jury still out?
