Health insurance giant Aetna is pulling out of the Affordable Care Act in 11 states. The company says it’s losing money on the state exchanges because there are too many sick and expensive customers and not enough healthy ones.
Health insurance giant Aetna is pulling out of the Affordable Care Act in 11 states. The company says it’s losing money on the state exchanges because there are too many sick and expensive customers and not enough healthy ones. But a letter obtained by the Huffington Post suggests it could be payback for the Justice Department blocking Aetna’s merger with Humana.
