    Apple is refusing to comply with a court order to enable the FBI to access a cellphone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists. A federal judge ordered Apple to help the government break the phone’s encryption.

    Apple is refusing to comply with a court order to enable the FBI to access a cellphone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists. A federal judge ordered Apple to help the government break the phone’s encryption. But yesterday, CEO Tim Cook refused, saying in a public letter to Apple customers that to do so would compromise every Apple iphone user’s security. What are the legal issues?
